Applying loose mineral foundation is very easy with the right tools. I recommend using a Kabuki brush or a Flat Top Bronzer brush. These brushes are made specifically for applying mineral makeup.
Begin by tapping a small amount of the foundation into the lid of the container. Next, swirl your Kabuki or Flat Top Bronzer brush in the foundation. Tap the brush against the side of the container to remove excess powder. Tap the bottom of the brush handle onto a hard surface such as a counter top to settle the powder into the brush. Apply the foundation in circular motions onto clean, dry skin starting at the forehead.
For blemishes, it is not necessary to use a concealer. If you feel the need to use a concealer, I recommend the bisque concealer for medium to dark complexions and the light bisque for those with fair to medium complexions. Apply the concealer sparingly to a concealer brush or an eye shadow brush for the best coverage. Follow the concealer by using the above instructions on applying the loose mineral foundation.
Cornsilk Veil can be used with any of our foundations, giving a translucent finish. If you have oily skin, you can apply Cornsilk prior to your foundation using either a small or mini kabuki or a flat top bronzer. Veils are applied using the same technique as foundation. You would follow the veil by applying your foundation and finishing off the look with an additional application of Cornsilk for a finished look.
Fairy Dust Veil is suited for those who wear our foundations that contain a pink hue. If the foundation tends to be too pink, then you can use our Elegant Amber Veil to get you a perfect match.
For those using our foundations with a yellow hue, Elegant Amber Veil is best suited to follow your foundation application.
If you wear one of our darker foundations, Goldenrod Veil is most suited to follow your foundation application.
All of our mineral veils can be used under or over your foundation to achieve your perfect finish! |
