Applying loose mineral foundation is very easy with the right tools. I recommend using a Kabuki brush or a Flat top concealer brush. These brushes are made specifically for applying mineral makeup.
Begin by tapping a small amount of the foundation into the lid of the container. Next, swirl your Kabuki or Flat top concealer brush in the foundation. Tap the brush against the side of the container to remove excess powder. Tap the bottom of the brush handle onto a hard surface such as a counter top to settle the powder into the brush. Apply the foundation in circular motions onto clean, dry skin.
For blemishes, it is not necessary to use a concealer. If you feel the need to use a concealer, I recommend the bisque concealer. Apply the concealer sparingly to a concealer brush or an eye shadow brush for the best coverage. Follow the concealer by using the above instructions on applying the loose mineral foundation.
For oily skin, apply the translucent veil prior to the foundation. The veil is applied in the same manner as the foundation, only using a small or mini kabuki brush or a flat top bronzer. Apply the foundation on top of the veil and add an additional application of the veil after your foundation.
If you wear a foundation with a pink hue, please use the Petal mineral veil. If one of these foundations is too pink for you, then please use the Angel mineral veil to adjust the color for a perfect match.
If you wear one of our foundations with a yellow hue, then please use our Angel mineral veil.
If you wear one of our darker foundations, then Tawny would be the mineral veil most suited for you.
All of our mineral veils can be used under or over your foundation to achieve your perfect finish! |
